| STUDIO B UPGRADE AND WELCOME TO DIVI MUSIC GROUP! 2008 We'd like to welcome Divi Music Group and Mr. Robert Wawoe (producer, engineer) to Phat Planet Studios. Divi Music group will be a regular fixture in Studio B as well as Studio A, and will be available for Artist production, tracking, mixing and mastering. Additionally, Studio B has now installed a Soundcraft Ghost Console and a new Pro Tools HD3 system. Improved sonics and top notch production is now within reach of ALL indie artists! PRO TOOLS HD Upgrade for Studio A (2007) We have recently upgraded to an HD3 Accel system and a brand new Apple Mac Pro Quad 2.2 with 5 GB of ram and 300 GB of internal storage on 10K rpm SATA drives plus a terabite of external Firewire 800 storage. We also upgraded our converters to Mytek 8x192's and Digi192 i/o's. We finally conducted our converter shoot-out, which involved several hours of recording bands with styles ranging from jazz to fusion, rock and classical, plus a tape transfer. After even more hours listening back with an invited group of engineers, producers and artists to take part in the double-blind test, we unanimously agreed on the Myteks and have been very happy with our decision. We will soon be posting samples of the recordings for you to enjoy.
